-to conduct primary research in regards to the residential school era

-to identify the victims of the residential schools and those who remain missing

-to take an active part in the investigation into the identifying burial sites

-to create a permanent monument acknowledging the residential school era

-to create active alliances with local, regional and national organizations to realize the goals of the Survivors

-to create a central office to plan, coordinate and effect the mission statement of the Survivors

-to plan for the repatriation of the children who may be identified with a specific community

-to engage in communal and regional education initiatives regarding the residential schools

-to use traditional and contemporary methods to effect personal healing

-to use various methods to effect healing for the Survivors and their families

-to engage the Mohawk people in creating a challenging dialogue regarding the residential schools

-to preserve through electronic recording the stories of the Survivors

-to meet with other Mohawk communities and coordinate research and repatriation initiatives

-to secure sufficient resources to realize the goals of the Survivors

-to attend and take and active part in all formal investigations on the grounds of the residential schools
